Head Coach – Owen Lentz
Owen was born and raised in South Africa where he played rugby from 1988-1998 at Queens College. Owen’s great rugby ability earned him a spot on the 2001 South Africa U/21 squad. Owen then immigrated to the United States and continued to play rugby. The USA Eagles recognized his ability and he was selected to represent the USA in the 2007 Rugby World Cup. Owen’s great rugby skill and knowledge makes him one of the best coaches in the DMV. If you would like to learn from Owen, come out today!

Club President – Corey (Krobar) Kroboth
Corey, a Pittsburgh native, started playing rugby at the Virginia Tech in 2016. After graduating, Corey joined PERC in 2020, but could not resist the call back to the ‘Burgh and returned for a year with the Pittsburgh Forge in 2021. PERC welcomed Corey back with open arms in 2022, and in 2023 Corey was elected Club President. Corey is the epitome of PERC, a high quality rugby player with high quality vibes.

Club Vice President – Rick Schneider
Rick started his rugby career with the Texas State Renegades in 2012, here he served as VP and treasurer. He also spent time with the Austin Blacks from 2014-2015 and the San Marcos Greys from 2015-2016. Once admitted into Villanova Law, Rick joined the Schuylkill River Exiles in 2016. Rick wears many hats: vice president, lawyer, rugby player, cowboy hats(?) and businessman. You read that right, Rick is also the proud owner of Magpie Reclamations! Rick’s many hats are one of the several reasons we are so successful as a club.

Match Secretary – Pat Cusick
Pat began his rugby career in 2009 at Salesianium High School in Delaware. Pat then moved on to play for the State College Barbarians from 2012-2013, then attended Penn State where he played from 2013-2016. Pat returned to rugby in 2022 and has been playing with PERC since. Social Media Manager – Ballah Boakai
Ballah started played rugby at Gonzaga High School from 2005-2009, then started playing for PERC in 2014 and has not looked back since. Ballah has been referred to as the “ultimate club guy”, and he shows that on and off the rugby field.
